Bar Operations

Expression of Interest

The Festival will likely include 2 temporary bar zones at separate locations; One bar operating on the Saturday & Sunday. And an additional bar location operating on the Sunday only. This is subject to potential change and any changes will be advised in due course.

Eligibility

  • Applicants must be located in the City of Port Phillip.

  • Applicants must be experienced with high volume events and have the ability to undertake complete end-to-end bar management including stock, suppliers, inventory, staffing, security, POS, risk management and liquor licensing requirements. 

  • Applicants must be willing to operate under direction of the Festival and work with preferred suppliers, including purchase of sponsor sales stock.

Expression of interest assessment

Expressions of interest will be assessed against the following criteria:

  • Experience with high volume events

  • Capability to resource bar operations as required

  • Understanding of event safety considerations

  • Management of environmental impacts to site

A negotiable fee will be applied to any successful engagement - with the fee being defined by factors such as: the scope of successful applicant’s capacities, number/ scale of site(s) etc.
