Be a part of the St Kilda Festival in 2026! 

The Big Festival Sunday event is on Sunday 15 February 2026 and we've opened expressions of interest for community groups, local choirs, dance schools and performance collectives to submit applications for their activities and events to be considered as part of the program.

Event/activity information

This could be the same or different to your Community Group name
This is to assist us with programming, please provide some further details about your event/activity. Please ensure you also detail how many people you predict will participate in your event/activity, whether you have run this activity before (where and when), and any other details that would support your application.
Example: Space and surface required, infrastructure requirements, power, PA, marquee (marquee alone or standard marquee package which includes marquee, table and 2 chairs), bump in and out times etc.
Consider how your event could be best experienced by members of the community with Disability - this can include mobility challenges, those who are d/Deaf or hard of hearing, Blind/Low vision, Neurodiverse communities and others.
If successful, the following publicity information will be used publicly to promote your act. Organisers reserve the right to edit publicity materials as required. Character limit: 500

Production support

City of Port Phillip (CoPP) will seek to provide production support to some Community Groups as a contribution to the activity.

Financial contributions by CoPP will be assessed on a case by case basis at the discretion of festival organisers, to a maximum of $1,000 + GST per activity, with preference given to groups whose activity has a direct positive impact on the community and festival goals. Additional production costs (i.e. those that exceed what CoPP can provide) will need to be covered by the Community Group. 

Financial contributions by CoPP are to cover production expenses only (performance, artist fees or marketing expenses not covered). However, for other funding opportunities provided by CoPP please stay up to date with our Funds, grants and subsidies page.
