If speaking at a Council meeting you must state your name and suburb for the record so we will require that you submit your details below, otherwise you will be unable to speak at the meeting. Please note, your name will be published in the Minutes of the meeting published to Council’s website.

Filming and Recording of Council Meetings

Council meetings are filmed and live streamed. Recordings are published on Council’s website and available for future viewing. Council takes care to maintain the privacy of people attending a meeting. The cameras that capture the meeting are installed to focus on the Mayor and Councillors, however a person who walks behind or in front of where the Mayor and Councillors are seated may be filmed and recorded.

Members of the public asking a question or making a comment at a meeting will not be filmed, however their voice will be heard in the live stream and in the recording published later to Council’s website. If you have any concerns about filming or your voice being recorded please advise a Council Officer before the meeting commences.
