The City of Port Phillip is trialling accessible beach matting at Port Melbourne Beach.
Mobi-Matting is a firm, portable pathway installed on the sand to make the beach easier to access for people using wheelchairs, mobility aids, prams, and for anyone who may find walking on soft sand challenging. The matting helps create a more accessible route between the beach entrance and the shoreline.
